Why New Zealand

Why Hospitality professionals are choosing New Zealand.

Hospitality professionals who've built careers in the Gulf have skills New Zealand actively recruits — from work visas that can open a pathway to residence for those who qualify, to employer connections through RANZ that most agents simply don't have.

Your Gulf Experience Counts

New Zealand’s hospitality sector recruits experienced chefs, F&B and hotel professionals from overseas. Your consultation confirms whether your role, experience, and pay meet current visa requirements.

A Possible Path to Residence

Some hospitality professionals move from a work visa to residence over time, if they meet the criteria. We’ll tell you honestly whether that’s realistic for you, and what it would take.

RANZ Employer Connections

As RANZ’s official immigration partner, we’re connected to NZ hospitality employers actively hiring. That’s a very different starting point from sending a CV cold.

Your Family Can Be Part of the Plan

Depending on your visa, role and pay, your partner and children may be able to join you, and your partner may be able to work. We’ll map out exactly what applies to your family.

Frequently asked

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my role as a chef / hotel manager / F&B professional in demand in New Zealand?

Hospitality roles are not on New Zealand’s Green List. However, experienced chefs, F&B and hotel professionals may still have work visa options, and in some cases a longer-term pathway to residence, depending on their role, experience, qualificationsand pay. Whether your profile qualifies is exactly what the consultation establishes.

Yes. We work entirely with clients offshore — you don’t need to be in New Zealand to start the process. The consultation is online, and applications can be lodged from your current country of residence.

A work visa lets you live and work in New Zealand for a set period. Residence lets you live here indefinitely. Some work visa holders can later apply for residence if they meet the criteria. Your adviser will tell you whetherthat’s a realistic goal for you.
Yes. As the official Immigration & Internship Partner of the Restaurant Association of New Zealand, we have direct relationships with employers actively recruiting skilled hospitality professionals — which gives our clients a meaningful advantage.

Often, yes. Whether your partner and dependent children can join you, and whether your partner can work, depends on your visa type, role and pay. We’ll cover your family’s situation on the call.

We’ll tell you directly — and we’ll tell you exactly what would need to change for a pathway to open. You won’t leave without a clear answer, even if that answer is “not yet.”

No. The consultation provides professional guidance and strategic advice but does not guarantee the outcome of any future visa application.

No. We work with clients both offshore and onshore — whether you’re applying from abroad or already living in New Zealand on a visa.

It can be helpful to have details of your qualifications, employment history, and any previous immigration assessments available to ensure a productive discussion.

No. You do not need a job offer to book a consultation. In fact, the consultation is designed to help you understand your options before you start applying for jobs. Many clients come to us at the very beginning of their journey — with no job offer, no visa, and no idea where to start. That’s exactly what we’re here for.

Payment is made online by card at the time of booking. The consultation fee is A$49, which will be automatically converted to your local currency by your card provider at the current exchange rate. No cash or bank transfer required.

You can reschedule your consultation up to 24 hours before your booked time at no charge, directly through the booking link. If you need to cancel, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we will issue a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable.

All sessions are shown in your local time zone automatically. When you open the booking link, Calendly detects your location and displays all available slots in Gulf Standard Time (GST, UTC+4) — so what you see is what you get. No time zone confusion.

Stay Ahead.
